How Do I prepare for my tan?
The day of your spray tan, shower and exfoliate using an oil free soap and exfoliator, or a glove or loofah. Shaving or waxing should be done the day before your tan. Do not wear any moisturizers, make up or deodorant. Mani/Pedi needs to be done BEFORE tan, and hair needs to be done day before or day after tan.Wear loose, dark clothing and flip flops. For best results, shower using Deep Clean Pecan Exfoliant by Aviva Inspires. Note: Oil-based ingredients will inhibit the beautiful tan you wish to achieve, so make sure to have clean, unmoisturized skin.
What is Express Tan?
Express enables you to shower anywhere from 1-5 hours, depending on how dark you want to be. Original is a full 8 hour development. You cannot get wet for the entire 8 hours while the tan is developing. This includes no mani/pedi, no sweating, no washing hands, etc.
What do I Wear to Tan in?
This is your decision. You can undress at your comfort level, though we do ask men to wear bottoms. You can wear a bathing suit or under garments. Our products do not stain, so you can feel comfortable about what you wear during your session. Make sure to wear loose, dark clothing for after your tan.
How long will my appointment take?
Your appointment will take approximately 20 minutes. Your summer tan will dry quickly and you will look amazing!
How do I take care of my summer tan?
After your Summer tan, avoid water, exercising, and do not take a shower for 8-12 hours until your tan fully develops. Stay away from tight clothing, and do not moisturize or put make up on.
How long will my summer tan last?
In following the proper steps before and after your tan, your results will typically last 5-7 days. Some will keep their tan 10 days. Keeping your skin moisturized after your tan will prolong that glow. Regular moisturizing with one of our unique tan extenders will greatly extend the tan’s life.
Will I still need to wear sunscreen?
Yes you will! Summer spray tan does NOT protect against UV and UVB rays. Sunscreen must be worn!
